Drake Farms
Mixed-Use Community Development
Drake Farms is a mixed-use community development in north Fayetteville, Arkansas – planned to include 2,400 homes and 1.3 million square feet of commercial and healthcare space, representing over $1 billion in investment. More so, Drake Farms is a story about land, legacy, and what it means to build something that lasts. Rooted in the legacy of Noah Drake and the character of Northwest Arkansas — gritty, authentic, and built to last.
Braid traveled to Arkansas to spend time with the Specialized Real Estate development team – listening, rumbling through hard questions, and sitting with the history of a place that had been quietly stewarded by the Pendergraft family for years. From those conversations, a clear vision emerged: this wasn’t just another mixed-use development. It was a return to something essential – neighborhood living, Ozark hospitality, and a deep sense of belonging to a specific piece of land.
We developed a full Brand Platform, including positioning, core messaging, logo evolution, color palette, typography, and branded collateral. The tagline – Fayetteville’s Front Porch – captured what the team had been trying to say all along – that this is a place where you’re always welcome, where connection is woven into the everyday, and where the spaces between the buildings matter as much as the buildings themselves.
